Discipline policy of XMS
- Separate discipline committee shall be formed by Principal for tenure of one year for students.
- Basing on the recommendation of the discipline committee, Principal will take decision against defaulter.
- Any student causing injury to another student which requires admission to hospital shall be given suspension for a period, not more than two weeks.
- Any student scolding anyone or using abusive language/offensive remarks shall receive warning letter. Repetition of same offence shall warrant one week suspension.
- Any student who steals/cheats shall be given TC.
- Any student adopting unfairmeans in any exam (CT/Term Exam) shall be given TC.
- Any student disobeying teachers shall get a letter of warning. Repetition of same offence shall warrant suspension.
- Any student failing to adhere to XEBEC instructions shall be warned.
- Any student found developing illicit relationship with any other person, shall be given TC.
- Any student writing offensive words on any wall shall be warned.
- Any student who is proved to be involved in anti state activities possessing explosives, ammunitions, illegal papers etc shall be given TC.
- Any student if caught possessing any expensive electrical devices (MP3 players/Mobiles) shall be warned and the items will be seized.
- Any student failing to report in time shall not be allowed to enter the school.
- Any student seen with another student of opposite gender (from Grade V-VIII) in any isolated place will be warned.
- Any student leaving the school premises without permission from the authority will be issued with a warning letter. Repetition of same offence shall warrant suspension for two weeks.
Any student failing to pay tuition fee successively for two months shall have to take re-admission.
Instruction for guardian
(Please help us to help you and your child to be Student of the Week or Student of the Year)
- Don’t enter or stay inside the classroom without permission.
- Send and pick up your child timely.
- Give homemade snack or Tiffin.
- Don’t give them packet food or junk food.
- Bring the Guardian’s Collection Card to drop and pick up your child.
- Don’t give any fancy materials or gift to your child to school.
- Check the Diary every day, sign and comment on the pointed place.
- Directly contact with the Class Teacher, Vice Principal or Principal for any complain or suggestion. Don’t do it with other guardian/s.
- Attend all the Guardian’s Meeting.
- Read, respond and sign all the notices.
- Inform everything regarding your child timely. Specially his/her leave or absence or sickness (Directly or over phone).
- Don’t take any leave during Tutorial Test or Examination.
- Guardians would kindly write down their identity and put their specimen signature in the diary. House tutors, uncles or elder brothers are not accepted as guardian.
- When your ward is backing home please check his/her diary and find out the lessons imparted in different periods. If you have anything to say, please write in the remarks column and put your signature at the below of the page.
- Have a look at the assignments given for the next day and encourage them to prepare those.
- Ensure whether your son/daughter comes to XEBEC regularly and punctually in the working days and returns home in due time.
- Guardians have to ensure their ward’s presence in the Class Tests, Monthly Tests and Term End Exams.
- Guardians must go through the rules and advice set for the students in the school diary or in the syllabus and ask their wards to abide by those and assist them in this regard.
- The guardians should keep in touch with the class teacher regarding the studies and conduct of their wards. (As per pen picture)
- Guardians may meet the Principal after getting the permission for discussing the progress of their wards at the fixed time on the particular day.
- If a student remains absent from the class for more than one day the guardian would come personally and grant leave by showing appropriate reason.
- If a student fails to come to class due to sickness, the guardian would submit an application to the Principal and after his/her recovery the guardian himself/herself would bring him/her to the school along with a medical certificate.
- The guardians would see to it that their wards pay the tuition fees on the first day of the fixed date for fee collection every month. If any student adopt any sort of unfair means and if he is found to be guilty of misconduct or if he denies the rules of the school or if he violates the discipline of the institution then the decision of the institution would be considered as the final one.
- If any student is unsuccessful in the Final Term End Exam for promotion to higher class, no request will be entertained.
- Those who would drop in and pickup their wards in and from XEBEC would do it on time. XEBEC shall not bear any responsibility.
- The guardians would look after their ward’s health and cleanliness.
- The guardians would keep their wards away from undesirable company or environment.
- For building up a good character of a student, joint effort of the guardians and teachers is required.
- Regarding the progress in studies and character building of the children it is expected that the guardian would give active and spontaneous support to the teachers.
Promotion policy
- Final result will be published after making an average of two terms result.
- The pass percentage for individual classes will be as under:
- PG, Nursery & KG – 70% of the total marks
- Level I & II – 70% of the total marks
- Level III to V – 65% of the total marks
- Level VI to VIII – 60% of the total marks
- Level IX & X – 55% of the total marks
- If a student misses any exam due to genuine sickness/ injury/accident/ admission to hospital/placed in bed rest, the marks of subjects shall be calculated basing on the mark obtained in any other term.
- If any student misses exam without valid reason/ without approval from the authority, he/she shall not be awarded any mark for the subject missed.
- Re-exam will never be conducted for the student who misses exams.
- Any student failing in one subject shall not be promoted. He/She may be kept in the same class with the request of parent.
- Students failing in more than one subject shall be given T.C.
- Student failing in the same class for consecutive two years shall be given T.C.
- Subject teachers shall initiate cases of weak students for onward transmission to parents.
- Weak students must be taken care of separately by the subject teachers through extra classes after the normal academic periods.
- Average marks for each subject shall be calculated with the addition of CT & term end exam.

General rules of XEBEC
- While entering the Institution pay due respect saying “Assalamu-Alaikum” to all faculty members and those who are senior in age.
- Before joining XEBEC ensure the following
- Shoes are cleaned and coloured.
- Dress is clean, tidy and ironed properly.
- Have a proper haircut.
- Girls hair is tied with white ribbon in two pony tails braided. Nails of your finger are properly trimmed.
- Girls are not wearing ear top, any fancy watch and hair clips.
- Only ear ring is allowed. You had bath in the morning and also brushed your teeth
properly.
- You do not visit roadside shops.
- Before joining class ensure the following:
- Have prepared your lessons for the day.
- Have completed the home assignments.
- Don’t move around in Verandah/Corridor during class hour.
- Use the wash room earmarked for respective class.
- While visiting wash room, ensure:
- Have flushed it before leaving the toilet.
- If it is not cleaned by flushing, make sure that enough water is poured and got it cleaned.
- No sprinkle water in the wash room is used to avoid accident.
- Senior students to be addressed as:
- To male students – (Bhaiya)
- To girl students – (Apu)
- Male students must be very formal with their female class mates. Under no
circumstances any one can afford to be funny with them. The relationship with them will be cordial but formal. They should be treated like your own sisters. Any complaint from any girl will be considered as an offence and will be dealt with severely.
- Behaviour with class mates, seniors & juniors:
- Remember, that students are from different backgrounds & from different areas of the country are classmates.
- Every human being is different from other, some body may be emotional, irritable or unsocial but everyone should try to behave ideally.
- For minor things do not start quarrelling.
- Remember – beating, grouping & hooliganism can never solve any problem, rather it
breeds the problem. - For any problem in the school – may it be a misunderstanding with any classmate or any problem of oneself – bring it to the knowledge of the class teacher.
- XEBEC Property:
Ensure following to save the XEBEC property.
- Switch off the fan & light before leaving the classroom.
- Own desk should be kept clean.
- For any odd situation inform office.
- Personal Properties:
- Take care of your personal properties like (1) Bag, (2) Pen, (3) Books, (4) Calculator, (5) Wristwatch, etc.
- Keep all these items inside bag under lock and key.
- In case of loosing personal belongings –owner to be punished for negligence of duties. Be vigilant and careful so that personal belongings are not stolen.
- Tea break:
- Bring your Tiffin from home. Consume it in your classroom.
- In case of not bringing Tiffin from home, you may ask the Aya to buy from outside shop. But everyday it is not allowed.
- When you go to up stair or down stair, stand in the queue and wait for your turn. Don’t break the line.
- If you have any suggestions about the anything, bring it to the knowledge of school captain/prefect.
- School attendance:
a.100% attendance in the class is compulsory for every student.
- Any way less than that will be viewed negatively.
- Examinations:
- There will be class, monthly tests and term end examinations. Each Examination is compulsory for every student.
- Any student missing 03 Examinations consecutively shall be considered as failed.
- Each student must obtain requisite marks in each exam as per promotion policy.
- Study at home:
- Must cover the lesson which will be taught on the next day.
- Must study at least 06 hrs a day.
- Don’t keep any work pending.
- Behaviour during the class:
- Be attentive.
- Clear your doubts during the class.
- Don’t disturb others.
- Carry books regularly.
- Seat as per seat plan.
- Clubs & Societies:
The following clubs & societies are in function:
(1) Language Club
(2) Science Club
(3) Computer Club
(4) Music & Dance Club
(5) Arts & Crafts Club
Clubs & societies are conducted on every Thursday for the students of all the classes excepting class V, VIII & X.
- Games:
- Attendance in games is compulsory for all.
- Facilities for the following games are available.
(1) Carom Board
(2) Basket Ball
- Visiting XEBEC
No student will come to the School on holidays without prior permission of Principal. Parents / Guardians along with the student can visit during 11:00 am – 12:00 every Saturday to have an open discussion with the class teacher.
- Friends or relatives:
Friends or relatives are not allowed to enter XEBEC both during and after the working hours.
- Use of Library:
- Students can use the library up to 3.00 pm on working days.
- Can also use library during games period. (Obtaining permission from class teacher)
